Mt Thompson Crematorium is located at 329 Nursery Road, Holland Park within 15 minutes from Brisbane City. This crematorium features two chapels. The West chapel was constructed in 1934 and features high ceilings, single chairs instead of pews as well as a mural painted by Brisbane artist William Bustard. The East chapel features a more modern design with a tranquil colour scheme and a marble and timber podium. Both chapels have audio and visual facilities that family and friends are encouraged to use throughout the service, however recording facilities are only available in the east chapel. Mt Thompson Crematorium offer refreshments in the area just outside the west chapel.
