Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family
on Monday 9th March 2026, aged 91 years.
Beloved Husband of Dianne.
Loving Father, Father-in-law and Grandfather
of David, Michael, Kerrie and their families.
Athol will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
His family would like to express their appreciation for the kindness,
love and support their friends have shown them during this difficult time.
In keeping with Athol’s wishes a private cremation has taken place.
A lovely man who’s passing will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known and shared his rich and colourful life.
My thoughts have been with you and family throughout this hard time you have endured.
So saddened by his passing ….Harry and I really miss him. He made us and other neighbours around in the Breeze feel very special he and Maisey. Deepest Sympathy to you Di and your family with much love he will be sadly missed Sandra and Harry 🙏💔

It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of Athol. Although I didn’t know him well, he was always ready with a wave and a smile. My thoughts go out to you at this difficult time.

I will miss my mate as we shared a similar humorous streak, which was used daily. This has left a vacancy were it will be very hard find another man of his caliber.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Athol will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He certainly made my days at the shed much more fun with a great sense of humour, broad knowledge and a great outlook on life.
