This is a graveside funeral service to honour the life of your loved one. Your relatives and friends gather at the graveside to pay respects to your special person before they are buried.

This is a combination of two gatherings.
Firstly, the funeral service of your loved one takes place with their coffin present at a chapel or church.
Family and friends may pallbear your loved one from the chapel or church to the hearse at the end of the service.
A procession or funeral cortege follows the hearse to the graveside.
Finally life honouring words of committal are spoken before the coffin is lowered into the grave.

After a graveside funeral service and burial there is a gathering of friends and family at a venue without the coffin or casket present. We refer to this as a celebration of life, referred to as a memorial service.
