Once permission is granted, Cherish Funerals transfer your loved one into our care. Our qualified morticians ensure that your loved one is cared for with dignity and respect.

Once our funeral team have been issued the medical cause of death by the doctor or the coroner has released the deceased into our care, Cherish Funerals can organise our doctor to come in and issue the Form 4 permission for cremation. Cremation can take place the next day.Cremated remains or ashes are generally ready for collection within 48 business hours of cremation taking place. You are welcome to collect the ashes or Cherish Funerals can return these back to you.

If you wish to travel with the ashes via air, interstate or overseas, we organise all the relevant documentation required.
We can also organise postage of ashes for you via registered post if you want the ashes to be posted interstate or overseas.

Viewing can take place at the funeral venue or at our funeral facility at Nambour prior to the service. If you wish to view your loved one, simply contact us and we will organise this for you.
